Our Ductile Iron Ball type Check Valves are manufactured in accordance to the Face to Face Dimensions of EN558-1, series 48 / DIN3202-F6 and Flange Drilling Dimensions are in conformity with IS:1538 (other drilling standards are also available on request).
Our Ductile Iron Ball Type Check Valves are engineered for reliable, maintenance-free operation in systems handling raw sewage, slurry, viscous media, and other fluids containing suspended solids. The free-moving ball inside the valve body acts as the sealing element, ensuring a full bore flow path during forward flow and automatically seating against the seat ring to prevent reverse flow.
Designed for vertical and horizontal installations, these valves are ideal for wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, industrial effluent lines, and other demanding applications. Their simple yet robust construction enables silent, slam-free operation with minimal pressure loss, even in dirty or aggressive environments.
KEY FEATURES
- Self-Cleaning Design: The freely rotating rubber-coated ball prevents clogging and deposits by continuously rolling and cleaning itself during operation, making it ideal for wastewater and slurry applications.
- Body Material: High – grade Ductile Iron (GGG50) for superior tensile strength, pressure handling and impact resistance.
- Ball Construction: Solid DI ball, fully encapsulated in wear-resistant NBR rubber for tight shut-off and long life.
- Seat Design: Precisely machined and inclined seat ensures tight sealing and minimal closing impact, with a gentle seating action to avoid water hammer.
- Full Bore Flow: No internal guides or restrictions—allows full unobstructed flow, resulting in extremely low pressure drop.
- Silent, Non-Slam Operation:The ball seats gradually with fluid reversal, eliminating noise and reducing hydraulic shock in the system.
- Coating: Fusion-Bonded Epoxy (FBE) internally and externally with minimum thickness of 250 microns for long-lasting corrosion protection in aggressive soil and water conditions.
- Low Head Loss:Efficient internal geometry allows use in gravity flow as well as low-pressure pumping systems.
- Maintenance-Free: No complex moving parts, linkages, or shafts—resulting in virtually zero routine maintenance.
- Installation Orientation:Suitable for horizontal and vertical (flow upwards) pipelines.
