Our Ductile Iron Double Eccentric Disc Butterfly Valves are manufactured in accordance to the Face to Face Dimensions of IS:13095 and Flange Drilling Dimensions are in conformity with IS:1538 (other drilling standards are also available on request).
Our Ductile Iron Double Eccentric Disc Butterfly Valves are engineered for reliable, low-torque operation in medium to high-pressure water, wastewater, and industrial applications. The double offset design significantly reduces seat wear and operating torque by minimizing disc-seat contact during operation, thereby extending service life and improving efficiency.
These valves are ideal for systems that require tight shut-off, long-term durability, and frequent operation under demanding flow and pressure conditions. Manufactured with a high-strength ductile iron body, corrosion-resistant fusion-bonded epoxy coating, and premium sealing materials, they ensure trouble-free performance even in aggressive environments.
KEY FEATURES
- Double Eccentric Design (Offset Disc): Minimizes contact between the disc and seat during opening/closing, resulting in lower torque, reduced wear, and extended seal life.
- Body Material: High – grade Ductile Iron (GGG50) for superior tensile strength, pressure handling and impact resistance.
- Disc Construction: Ductile iron disc + EPDM lining with streamlined hydrodynamic profile for efficient flow and low pressure drop.
- Seat Options with Stainless Steel Retainer: TheSoft seat (EPDM) is securely held in place by a stainless steel seat retainer ring, which ensures excellent corrosion resistance, mechanical stability, and long-term sealing performance—even in aggressive or high-pressure environments.
- Stem Shaft: Stainless steel shaft with precision-machined trunnions and high-performance bushings ensures smooth, backlash-free rotation.
- Coating: Fusion-Bonded Epoxy (FBE) internally and externally with minimum thickness of 250 microns for long-lasting corrosion protection in aggressive soil and water conditions.
- Tight Shut-Off: Bidirectional sealing (in soft-seat models) provides zero-leakage performance.
- Actuation Options: Compatible with manual gearboxes, electric actuators, pneumatic or hydraulic actuators, and chain or lever-operated handles
- Low Operating Torque: Reduced torque requirements allow use of smaller, more economical actuators
- Flange Options:Available in PN10, PN16 or as per project specifications.
- Wide Size Range:100mm to 1200mm
- Hydraulic Tested:100% Pressure tested for body and seat leakage in accordance with international standards.
