Reliable Overpressure Protection for Water Networks and Pumping Systems
Our Ductile Iron Pressure Relief Valves are designed to automatically protect water pipelines, pumps, and equipment from excess pressure by relieving surges and maintaining system safety. These pilot-operated valves respond to pressure spikes by opening proportionally, discharging excess pressure and then closing smoothly once system pressure returns to safe levels.
Manufactured from robust ductile iron and coated with fusion-bonded epoxy, these valves offer long-lasting performance, minimal maintenance, and are suitable for both clean and mildly aggressive water. Whether installed downstream of pumps or at pressure-sensitive points in a network, they help ensure stable operation and prevent costly damage from pressure fluctuations.
KEY FEATURES
- Automatic Pressure Regulation: Designed to open immediately when system pressure exceeds a preset limit and close smoothly once normal pressure is restored.
- Body Material: High – grade Ductile Iron (GGG50) for superior tensile strength, pressure handling and impact resistance.
- Hydraulic Pilot Control System: Factory-set or field-adjustable pilot mechanism responds precisely to pressure changes, ensuring accurate opening/closing.
- Diaphragm Design: Flexible EPDM-reinforced diaphragm isolates the upper chamber, allowing sensitive, responsive, and leak-free actuation.
- Anti-Surge Performance: Controls pressure spikes during pump start/stop or sudden valve closures, reducing water hammer and system stress.
- Internal Trim:Brass seat, with Stainless Steel shaft and fasteners for wear resistance, corrosion protection, and extended service life.
- Coating: Fusion-Bonded Epoxy (FBE) internally and externally with minimum thickness of 250 microns for long-lasting corrosion protection in aggressive soil and water conditions.
- Flange Options:Available in PN10, PN16 or as per project specifications.
