PREETAM® DI Slanted Seat Swing Type Non-Return Valves (NRV)
Our Ductile Iron Slanted Seat Swing Check Valves (NRVs) are manufactured in accordance to the Face to Face Dimensions of EN558-1, series 48 / DIN3202-F6 and Flange Drilling Dimensions are in conformity with IS:1538 (other drilling standards are also available on request).
Our Slanted Seat Swing Type Non-Return Valves (NRVs) are engineered to prevent reverse flow in water and wastewater systems, ensuring reliable protection for pumps, pipelines, and critical components. The angled seat design allows for a shorter stroke of the disc, reducing closing time and minimizing water hammer, making it an ideal choice for applications demanding high flow efficiency and system safety.

- Slanted Seat Design: Angled seat arrangement shortens disc travel distance, reducing water hammer and promoting quieter operation.
- Body Material: High – grade Ductile Iron (GGG50) for superior tensile strength, pressure handling and impact resistance.
- Disc Construction:Heavy-duty ductile iron disc with EPDM vulcanized sealing surface ensures drop-tight shut-off.
- Hinge Mechanism:Robust stainless steel hinge and shaft assembly with long-lasting bushings for smooth, low-friction movement.
- Seat Angle:Optimized seat incline (typically 15°–45°) for faster closing response and reduced pressure loss.
- Coating: Fusion-Bonded Epoxy (FBE) internally and externally with minimum thickness of 250 microns for long-lasting corrosion protection in aggressive soil and water conditions.
- Backflow Prevention:Automatically prevents reverse flow during pump shutdown or line pressure drops.
- Silent Operation:Shorter closing travel and cushioned seating eliminate slamming and noise.
- Installation Orientation:Suitable for horizontal and vertical (flow upwards) pipelines.
- Flange Options:Available in PN10, PN16 or as per project specifications.
